Take a trip on the wild side this season as animal print takes over. There is no escaping prints this season as it is seen as a timeless classic and adds creativity to any outfit.

Even though prints have had a few drawbacks in the fashion industry for instance animal print being worn by Cruella De Vil did make it look unrefined. However animal print can look chic as it defines any trend, be worn in any season and can be dressed up or down.

Animal print is loved by many celebrities and models such as Kate Moss and Alexa Chung. To reinforce the love of animal print Kate Moss has even introduced a new innovate collection showing how we must celebrate the infinite trend and always have it in our wardrobes this season.

Leopard print coats are my all time favourite. I have seen a few around the Trinity Centre, Leeds that I must buy. They make an outfit look effortlessly elegant but not too formal. It is often said how Jackie Kennedy even sparked the mass trend of animal print because of the real fur coat she wore in the sixties, that everyone desired. Not only do the coats look fantastic, they will also keep you warm in the upcoming winter months.

However if traditional leopard print is not your thing, do not hesitate to tone it down. For example many high street shops such as Topshop and New Look have introduced animal print clothes that are more unusual. Using grey and blue colours instead of the conventional leopard colours makes the print look more quirky and less in your face. Animal print is one of this seasons hottest trends, so do not hesitate to buy it. Even if it is just a scarf.

There is no better way to liven up a winters day than with bold animal print. It's going to be a wild season.

CHARLOTTE'S

FASHION TIPS

#1
Denim stretches in the wash. So if you're in doubt, always choose the smaller jeans size.

#2

If you have an old bag, put it on the back of your bathroom door. This is the perfect way to store makeup, hair bobbles, accessories and toiletries.

#3
To remove a lipstick stain from clothes, use hairspray. (Trust me, it works).
